• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi all!

I will take a break from the VFR airfield scenery I'm working on.

So I will continue on the developing of Las Vegas recent projects, this will be my third "mini" scenery after "Wynn & Encore" and "Trump & Palazzo".

Here some screenshots from Gmax, currently, Vdara, Mandarin Oriental and both Cosmopolitan towers are done.

All tall building are modeled now, Vdara, Veer and Mandarin Oriental is already textured, now I will proceed with remaining tall buildings, then I will try to model the shopping mall Crystals, will be a challenge

Here a couple of screens from inside Fs2004:

Building in the foreground, is at one hectic angle... would be interesting trying to stand upright in that building or get to the top floor.... :)

FsX version is not priority at the moment, I've never developed for that sim because I do not have it :(, but I will try to convert the scenery as soon as I will have FsX on my pc.

Update: shortened "The Harmon" because I erroneously used the project height, the building has been shortened for structural problems.

Sweet I will try to place them into my FSX when setup once you are done with the FS9 version to see how it ports over. Any chance you can make each building seperate so I can move them around if nessary?

Thanks
Sean

Great work love the Vegas Enhancements any chance you will do Fountain blue, and WestGate @ Planet Hollywood?

Yes :) also Marriott's Chateau, and Turnberry towers. :)

and about your previous question, not a problem to do separate files.

Hi,
Other 3 hotels are now completed! Ph Westgate is very detailed, and one of the most difficult to model... Marriott's Grand Chateau has been already textured and the last one is Polo Towers, just a filler because is not very tall but it is located between City Center and Marriott.

Now I will proceed with:

The Hotel (Mandalay)
Sky condos
Turnberry Place
Turnberry Towers
Fontainebleu

I will have to evaluate about the Palms because there are not to much photos, I will see when I finish all the above.

Enjoy with some screens about Marriott and Westgate ;)

Cheers, Andrea

Excellent work any chance you could offer each hotel as a seperate bgl file so we can add ones we want plus I would like to try and import these into FSX and see if I can get them to work and it's much easier if each are a seperate bgl file.

Keep up the fantastic work
Sean

Little update:

Added Bellagio SPA behind Cosmopolitan, and started with the northern part of the Strip, with Sky Condos:

Yep ;)

Andrea,

Amazing work as always. So glad someone is keeping up with FS9. Even though I just made major upgrades to my system for P3D which gets an average of 25-45 FPS with light prop aircraft, there is little piece of mind with it.

With FS9, no matter what I throw at it, it just keeps going. No CTD's, no such thing as micro stutters or OOM's. So needless to say, I am so glad we are finally getting a proper and updated rendition of the Strip in FS9.

Please feel free to keep going and do the entire Strip! :D

View along the entire Strip, I can say that 50% of the buildings are modeled by me :p
