• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

    GP is below default RWY/TWY

Heh.. serves me right for exporting ground poly as buildings.. Now all my lines are floating hehe :p Looks like we're back to square one; why does default scenery appear on top of ground poly...

Yup. Unfortunately, I have no idea why the default stuff goes on top of my GP. That just does not seem normal. Tried exporting it as a normal object, 1cm above the ground, MCX spits me in the face screaming "The given key was not present in the dictionary".. but that's something for a different...

One possible solution: don't use GPW at all; use the convert and place object wizard for ground textures instead.

Exporting for P3D v4.4. Perhaps you were talking about negative layer numbers? I'll try those right away for sure. EDIT: negative layer numbers did not help. Same thing.

So, I played around with the layers and stuff. One is set to 8 (the one on the RWY side), and the other one set to 9. It's so weird :banghead:

Nope, no ORBX. I do have a flatten, yes, but it used to work fine? What could be possibly wrong with the flatten? I'll take a look for sure. Not sure. I think I downloaded MCX around a week ago.

    GP is below default RWY/TWY

Hello everyone  Recently, I have been having this issue, where my ground poly exported via MCX is below the default runway/taxiways and even the actual taxi-lines. When exporting, I have my altitude set exactly to the one that ADE 175 reads - 10.058 meters (also tried setting it to 10.07...

Not so bad, considering they're tiny objects and no one really pays attention to the actual model of the PAPIs.
