• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

    MSFS20 Broken pitch

I haven't made it that far, more than 100% nose up trim tho at cruise speed (460 knots), cuz qt 100% it doesn't maintain AOA I did however move the cog behind to -10.0, moved the stations around a bit, and changed the model's base position (using MCX), I'll text tomorrow

    MSFS20 Broken pitch

yea, good point, I havent seen the IL-62 IRL, only on some videos and images and now in the sim, so the 55% during takeoff, and even more at cruise is normal?

The inbuild a320 and b747 sure don't need that much trim

    MSFS20 Broken pitch

Not negative, I said ~ which means about I don't see why takeoff needs 55 to 70% trim..

Would -20 do? Also I know about the trim, but Max is ~10% in worse case scenario, and it shouldn't require trim at higher airspeeds

(non paid) - IL-62N, community rebuild of the IL-62M for Native MSFS

Hello simmers! I’m working on **IL‑62N**, a community-led project to bring the Soviet IL‑62 into Microsoft Flight Simulator as a **native aircraft** — no legacy imports, no FSX compatibility hacks, a rewrite to the most important aspects that are making this port unflyable most of the times. *...

    MSFS20 Broken pitch

Context: im working with an IL-62M, modern flight model, my goal is to make it fully native, im working on other stuff for the native conversion. But problem is, I cannot figure out what to change in flight_model.cfg to fix this issue At takeoff, ~160-200 knots, 5±2° AOA, I have to use 55%-78%...
