• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

    Microsoft flight released

Hey, I want to get my hands on an A330 in Oceanic livery so I can "involuntarily park" it on the beach at Oahu! :D

    Microsoft flight released

I have to disagree: I, for once haven't posted anything that isn't blatantly obvious or could be figured out with 2 or 3 Google searches. Heck, that's the way I found it out *myself* after downloading Flight... If someone were to post a guide or a tutorial on how to crack Flight's file...

    Microsoft flight released

All I'm going to say is, more info to be found in CoreContent.pak/SimObjects/Airplanes/<Aircraft Name>/Sim. Read up on some info about the SPB format, as it's not human readable but a compiled (SimProp Binary, ESP format) XML file. There are some ways to decompile them but you'd need...

    Microsoft flight released

I won't criticize the goal of Microsoft to make money off MSFlight. It is their perfect right to do so, however, I doubt the current set of additional content (3 aircraft and a single set of scenery) is going to be very profitable in the long run. The FS2002/FS9/FSX series has been succesful...

    Microsoft flight released

First impression, I will have to agree. Flight is more about flying by the seat of your pants, and not having to worry about things like flight plans, ATC and loads and loads of procedures or checklists. That's also probably the reason there aren't any jets or heavy airliners in Flight...

    Microsoft flight released

Microsoft Flight is based around, more or less, Microsoft ESP. Where FSX had a lot of 'legacy' stuff in it from FS2004 and earlier versions with a splash of ESP mixed in, Flight has cleaned up a lot of the mess and leaves only the necessary bits. Along with using the PAK file format (ZIP with...
