• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FS2004 Default FS2004 Cockpit VC Lighting?

Greetings, I wasn't sure where to add this, so I placed it in General because I'm not really "designing" anything new. I'm still using FS2004 and am doing some texture updates to some of the older aircraft. I'm also updating some panels -- or at least trying to, anyway. On most aircraft the...

    FS2004 PhotoCalc?

I was wondering if there was a way to find a program by Rhumbaflabby called "PhotoCalc"? I'm experimenting with FS9 and was wondering if there was a way to get LOD13 extents. For some reason I'm not getting anything close to what I should get when using Excel and some formulae based on what...

FS2004 FS2004 Apron Vertex with bias instead of lat/lon?

Greetings, I'm trying to use XML to create a "generic" airfield that I can place anywhere I want in a project I've been working on. Its purposely small (about 1km x 1km in size, or 3,000' x 3,000') with grass runways in an "X" pattern. I would like to create this airfield as generic as...

FS2004 Custom Map Image in GPS?

Greetings, I was wondering if there was a way to make a simple gps-type map gauge that would use a bmp of a vintage navigation map as a background? Top is always north and the image is static. Plotting the Azimuth1 and Length as well as the GeoCalcExtraPolationLatitude and...

Increase ILS Range - Pseudo LFRR.

Greetings! I'm trying to answer a quetion that has been problematic for a while now. I'm trying to simulate the Low Frequency Radio Range (to an extent, not the whole thing) in FSX:SE. In FS9, this was accomplished by several authors by using XML gauges which, unfortunately, do not work in...

    V.2 Texture Filter Editor Broken?

I'm not sure if I'm the only one with this issue, but when I tried using the latest update of V.2 I can no longer use the Texture Filter Editor. When I click on the drop-down tab I get another window, but it is blank and shows whatever was on the screen when I selected it. The Batch Run...

FS2004 Anyone Use Slartibartfast (Free)? (Win7 64-bit Computer)

I've been experimenting with Slartibartfast Free edition and have gotten as far as the creation of the *.bgs files. The *.bat file calls for "bglc" but this does not seem to work - even after getting the FS2K SDK file from here. I've also tried changing the line in the *.bat file to "bglc_9"...

FS2004 Autogen: Now you see it; now you don't?

I've posted this question in the CalClassic forums yesterday and I'm hoping that someone can help me out here. Again, my apologies if this has been answered somehow, but I can't seem to get an answer from anywhere. Maybe I'm not using the proper verbiage when performing the searches on the...
