3DS Max 2012 confuse!

Hello, I'm having a problem about 3Ds Max 2012. After I've completed a model and I've exported using p3d sdk to x file format. What I've to do next? Open model converter x or other software? I've search on the forum but I don't find something similar to my problem.

Open it in MCX and convert to MDL, make sure that textures are in "Texture" folder and model (.X) is in "Scenery" folder.
Your project folder location can be anywhere on your PC.

You can simple drag that X file to XtoMDL.exe. It is in Environment Kit\Modeling SDK\3DSM2012\Plugins.
It will generate MDL to the same folder that you have X file. Then use XML to place the object.

Okay I got how to convert it but after that how do I place the model in fsx using xml? These tutorials seems confusing to me.

Another question. Are the dimensions of object in fsx are the same as in real life? my object's dimension is small in 3ds max but in fsx the object becomes bigger and yes I set the units in 3ds max to meter.

If the difference is significant, then you made a mistake. In 3dsmax using real world dimensions in meters you should see results in fsx that look realistic.

p3d can read the mdl and .x files without conversion? I thought BGL was required? I dont use p3D so not sure. I am probably going to get it when 2.0 is released. I can use it to further my training so technically it would be academic :) and not 'just for fun'.
