FS2004 AI Aircraft issues

I am creating some scenery for my local airport, all looks good, the aircraft taxi around properly and go onto their stands, but when its time to push back they do so, start up but then stay still and don't call up for taxi.

Its worth noting that when first loaded, the aircraft push back and taxi out without issue. I have tried many different models and this seems to happen on most of them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This suggests an incomplete taxi-path from parking to take-off. Check that there's a continuous taxiway between between parking and start point on the runway and that there's a hold-short point within valid range of the runway. The ADE fault-finder will likely reveal the problem.

Actually since they do taxi out OK when you load up the airport from scratch, it's likely that your parking spot layout is the likely culprit. While FS understands how to get them out from the "default loading" aircraft position, something goes wrong when the plane's position is a result of when they taxi in first. If you are using a complex taxiway arrangement to each parking spot, try to simplify it and see if that helps. I have seen similar effects when I have extra disconnected taxiways present that I use to draw lines, for example.

Just an update, I managed to resolve this issue by widening taxiways I had set to 0ft in width!

You may have resolved the issue, but not by widening 0-width taxiways. AI travels fine over O-width.

Some work fine with 0 width, but others don't. I believe it is the Contact Points that determine that.

Recently I tested such a scenery and the progressive taxi path was interrupted (went back to the last node I had hit
