• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Another FRUSTRATING problem!

Hi, dito

Here, too.

When unzziping the file you downloaded, let unzip tool take care of the folders structure.

Thanks, dito

No, but I can't understand why it would not work for you. the HTML approach is very common and if unzipped in a way that preserves the folders will work fine. The images are part of the tutorial. They just happen to be in a sub folder.

OK, it works with me. Simply the main page of instructions has areas supposedly for images, which are not displayed on the same page. Yes, I do have the subfolder with the images.

Right now I am going through the newly released FS_KML 1.06 manual to learn more about it and surely I'd love to also learn what SBuilderX has to offer comparatively or in conjuction with the FS_KML.

I just realized that simply adding road traffic to existing FSX default roads and freeways is not the best way to go. But to exclude the existing ones and build news ones (same as shorelines, beaches, etc).
PS. The stunning scenery I referred to earlier is found here:www.fs-freeflow.com

Thanks,

The manual has not been updated yet to cover 1.06 :(

Highlight your freeway. On the "Properties" tab you will see the properties of the freeway, including the NumberOfLanes and TrafficDirection. No need to edit the DBF file anymore since you can set traffic direction and number of lanes directly from within FSX KML.

The "Vertices" tab will show you all the vertices in your line or polygon. Click the "edit" button and a window will pop up and allow you to manually edit values if you so desire. You can use the "Set Elevation" button to set elevation of all vertices which is useful if you are creating lakes that need to be elevated.

The "XML" tab shows you the XML of the highlight node.

In upcoming 1.07 i am adding shape viewing/editing capabilities, see this post for a preview
