• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FSX ATC no proposing my new airport

Hello,

I build a new airport which is missing in FSX, it is a small helicopter base
I defined three coms frequencies (tower ATIS and ground) but none of them shows when I start ATC window !!

Any clue ?

Bump ! ;)

Maybe my question was not well written.

I designed a new airport (not existing in base FSX)

I used FSX planner to do the airport "structure" runway, etc ....
In this file I declared a tower frequency a ground frequency and an ATIS frequency ...

But, when I open the ATC window in FSX the only choice I have is tuning to a neighbour airflied !!

what did I miss ?

If you added frequencies then it should work. Are the frequencied different from any nearby airports?

To be honest I did not check as I took the official frequency of the airport ;)
The only funny thing I did in that scene is that TOWER and ground share the same frequency (worked in FS9)
and In this scene In the FSX planner preferences :
I delete everything in the prep parameters and I do NOT write runway and helipad ( for them not to show) I have a ground poly instead with the proper markings that FSX do not propose (I did not do that in FS9)

ANSWERED !!

I found out that wrting the runways on the compile stage wrote the radios

ATC is working now
