I am creating a scenery for coastal British Columbia, and would like to accurately show the blinking marine lights that appear on aeronautical charts of the area. One type of light does three quick blinks once every twelve seconds.
In the dialog box in the FSX effects tool, I have set the effect to consistently play once every 12 seconds, ad infinitum. I have set the delay on each of the three particles to 0,0; 1,1; 2,2 seconds respectively.
Things work nicely for three or four cycles, then begin to deteriorate until two or all three of the particles are blinking at the same time. How do I keep the timing of the blinks consistent?
