CAT Time of day...

Hey Arno,

Got the hanger door working just great. Great tool, thanks.
Now I want to move onto setting a condition for my beacon that I designed. I don't want to use the paramaters of a stock beacon like beacon2,3,4 etc but want to tell my beacon to start at dusk and stop at dawn. I read the pdf's in cat2k2 and cat but see no reference to the parameters I should put in to get the desired effect.

Thanks, and again, great program Arno.

Hi Adam,

Do I understand you correct that the beacon should be working all day (including dusk/dawn) but not during the night?

In that case I think you should not use an animation trigger, but set the animation condition (first options screen) to the time of day variable (28C). If you then set the values to be between 1 and 2 it should be static at night.
Hey Arno,

Just ths opposite actually...I want the beacon to turn on at dusk, run all night and turn off at dawn. Sorry if I was unclear. What numbers should I use then in conjunction with "time of day"?

Hi Adam,

Oops, in that case a value between 2 and 4 should do the job. This will make it work at dusk/dawn and night.
