Hello, I am one of the developers on a project we are working on to recreate the city of Kiev Ukraine. http://kievscenery.at.ua/ (Russian website)
My question is, if we create a custom terrain for the city, will it conflict with any other terrain that a gamer who downloads our terrain have installed?
For example if a gamer has FS global installed and they install our terrain, will the two conflict?
When and why do conflicts occur, and how to prevent them?
Do we have to have a rule that if the gamer uses our mod they can't have any other custom terrain installed? Is there a way to get around this if its true?
Oh another question, is there a way to prevent buildings and other 3d scenery objects from being either sunk in or floating above the ground due to different custom terrain mods? In other words how can you make scenery objects change elevation along with the terrain when installing a terrain mod?
Thank you.
