• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

empty fuel tanks

Been using FSXPlanner since release 12 , BIG CHEERS!!
(Never done this before, had an airport built in less than an hour, very nice)

I'm new to all this, so excuse the dummy question.

Is there a reason the fuel spot doesn't work, or why the trucks go away?

I have the jetways working and the glideslope shows in gps(i'll figure out approaches eventually, when my brain cools off) now i need to re-fuel, but they don't work for me.
so what am I doing wrong with the fuel?

Any help appreciated.

A refuel spot needs an XML trigger code.

That and any visual refuel Common Library Object - have to be above the airport header in the XML file.

The

<Trigger
type=REFUEL_REPAIR

defines an invisible square vertex area. Placing the user aircraft within that square triggers the refuel and repair behavior.

A Common Library Object or a custom model can be located in/ near the Trigger vertex, but is not necessary.

A FUEL type parking spot can also be located within/ near the Trigger vertex, but that is not necessary.

Adding a FUEL type parking spot does not create a REFUEL_REPAIR Trigger.

The trigger code stated above is the cause.

We are looking into integrating this into FSX Planner.

Thank you both.
I understand what you're saying about the trigger.
Something new to learn not a problem.
Keep up the good work. Amazing you have the time to make so many
changes in such a short time period of time, but it's fun and adds just another layer to my tasty FSX onion.
