• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

FSXA Error comunicating with FSUIPC

Hi,
I know this is not a new problem but I found no way to solve.
I had to install FSXA on a new PC with Win10. It works but there is the problem with SBuilderX.
I Installed FSUIPC 4.966c (17.April 2017) unregistered. I see this program in the menu Addons.
FSX is installed at C:\FSX
SBuilderX is installed at C:\FSX-Programme\SBuilderX
FSUIPCClient.dll is in the same folder as SBuilderX.exe. In the property of this file I changed the compatibility to Windows 7 and the program is started with administratority rights.
Nevertheless if I try to show my aircraft after starting FSX I get the message 'Error communicating with FSUIPC'
Now I don't know what I can do else?

What kind of aircraft do your want to show? An add-on aircraft or a default FSX aircraft?
Does this apply to other aircraft too?
>>
Do you run an internal firewall that blocks communication between FSUIPC.DLL and other processes / applications on your computer?
Does this error have a more descriptive error-code then just a "error communicating with FSUIPC"?
What type of error-log can be found in your Windows Error Logs?

Thank you for answering.
I am using SBuilderX for the last years with Win7 without problems.
Now I use it with my new PC and with the same aircraft as bevor (Cessna 177RG - freeware)
I tried with the default AirCreation, but it is the same.
My firewall is Kaspersky and if I disable this it is the same. Other processes / applications I don't know. It is more or less the same system as at my old PC.
The error message is the known square, which I knew from the old PC if FSX lost communication whilst an compiling process.
The windows Error Logs doesn't show any error log for this case.

Edit: I think I solved the problem. I exstalled the SBuilderX version 314 and installed the previous version 313. And now SBuilderX can communicate with FSUIPC. I hope this was the only problem I found with this program.

TIP: Next time, please upload a screenshot of this "known square", since it is not known for everybody ;) by default.

Sorry Ronald, I truly thought the error message is wellknown for everybody using SBuilder.
