• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi Arno,

I have been doing a lot of testing today with this, and have not yet found any major issue.

Just keeping you updated :)

OK, This is just picky, but here goes...

The TAB movement on the screens is not in the correct order in some cases.

Told you, picky :)

OK, Found a problem...

The regular file works before CAT, but after, nothing...

Yes, I have noticed that, but didn't really enjoy the idea of having to redefine that for all screens. Might do it when I am in the mood for it one day :D.

I had a look at the source code and that looks fine. Positions are the same etc. And the gate also shows fine when I compiled it.

The gate shows, but did it animate for you?

Didn't check that

Are you sure you used the correct trigger etc? Or could this be that naming issue again we also had with the old CAT?

I double checked the trigger 1200h was used.

Ah, I remember a naming issue... something to do with numbers?

I think we could never really pin it on number back then, but could you try a different name and see if that helps? Might point me in the correct direction to find this bug.

OK... Will do.

Now you mentioned that, It did seem to work at one stage. Before I called it FS2002.

I'll report back.

Hi Arno,

OK, as per our discussions, these lines are created in the code.

I can confirm that they also exist in the more basic animation.

Code:
SETWRD 2h, 0
    IFIN1 test2_1_fc_512, usrvar,257,512
    IFMSK test2_1_fc_512, usrvar,0001h
SETWRD 2h, 0

And that more basic animation did work correct? Very strange, as I have not seen these lines of code in the animations I have used before.

At this stage I do not know :(

It is something in the animation tables... but I am currently testing with the old version of CAT. I will report back soon.

In the famous words of Homer Simpson.

DOH!

I was changing the NAV1 and not NAV2.

I would like to see what this code is however :)
