• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FS2004 Find / Collect Airports Problem

Resource contributor
It occurred to me after your complaint yesterday that, when the Scenery Library is the selection mechanism, the user probably is interested only in the version of the airport in the \scenery subfolder - regardless of how many other versions of the airports are within the scope of the selection. So, in Development Release 3.2.08(f), I have modified the program to include only those airports whose folder path ends with "\scenery". That's the best I can do without a large amount of development work and potentially destabilising the program.

So long as your "not in use" folders don't contain a "Scenery" folder, this should address your concern.

Hi Don,
please excuse my very late answer.
Your last versions work perfectly for me (FS9 only).
I could reduce my "more than once" list from more than 500 to about 150.
Most of the 150 entries are not severe because they are in different layers.
This happened when I installed several years ago AfCads from PAI or MAIW in "Addon Scenery\Scenery" and some years later a scenery in an other folder with higher priority. But this way I can clean up my scenery.
More severe are some AFCADs in the same layer. Now I can find them and resolve the problem, many thanks.
In between I have no more than 100 entries to work on.

Next week I am through, because weather is not good enough for fishing :)
Thanks again for your fine AIFP and all other excellent software.
