Hi everyone - I hope I am on the right forum here, as you will see I am new to this site, am looking for some help, and have taken a bit of a guess that I can find it here...
I fly an aircraft equipped with a GPS-Inertial unit (RT3200 - manufactured by OXTS, please see - http://www.oxts.com/default.asp?pageRef=17) that outputs position, attitude, velocities, accelerations and so-on. I want to take this output, and use it as an input to a FS package in order to 're-create' the actual flight on a PC.
I might also want to do this in real-time; with the PC on the aircraft or using the RT3200 output datalinked to the ground. The aircraft is already equipped with datalinks.
So I have some basic questions, seeing as I know nothing about FS development;
1. Does this capability already exist?
2. If not, is it possible?
3. If so, would it be affordable and use commercially available hardware and software?
4. If so, would anybody (preferably in the UK) like to contact me with a view to helping develop such a capability?
Thanks very much
