FS2004 FSDS3.5.1 Transparency Issue, Help needed.

Hi friends,

I have a strange issue going on with a low poly warship model that I developed as a freeware ez-scenery object.

The model works fine for the original FSDS model and textures for the Australian Navy however as I needed to change the textures file to apply colour changes for various other countries, the transparencies now have a small border of transparency that looks through the complete object and any other nearby ship.

It is an exact duplicate of the original model, all I have done is rename the texture files and applied the new textures to the FSDS model parts in exactly the same position as the original texture files.

As you can see in the photo, there is a fully transparent edge around the model parts, yet the majority of the transparency is working as it should.
As I said earlier, the draw order has not been chaned from the original model, only the texture files have been remapped.

Does anybody have any idea what's causing this issue????
It would be a real shame to trash this (to be) freeware model just because of a few transparency problems.

This is how it should look.

I would love to hear from any developers that have had similar problems and over come them.

Thank's,

Hi mile high
If you made no changes to the original model and only changes the textures your graphic program must have done something to the texture, could you send both the original and the updated texture to me so I can take a peak at them.
