No idea if this is allready know but the FA-18 of FSX Acceleration introduces two new sections in the AIR file. I was able to decode one section: Table 154a
Table 154a is a new and more fexible table for the wave drag or mach drag and replaces the old table 430. The table is still limited to Mach 3.2 but and allows to design a more accurate Wave Drag curve.
This may be of interest for all the people who develope fast movers. But caution: FSXA AIR files are not compatible with FSX.
Section 1549 is for me at the moment a big mistery. Perhaps can someone help decoding this section.
A little bit more details about this things are on my (German) blog: http://ootb.wordpress.com/2008/07/06/fsxa-aam-1/
Furhtermore I have published an updated AAM.INI on my webpage www.fsdossier.info. With the new INI files you can see and edit Tab 154a. The table is at the very beginning of the section list.

My apologise if this was allready know.
