• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Parse complete!

Can't copy BGL file into the destination folder:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Environment Kit\BGL Compiler SDK\fsxplanner_KSMA.BGL (The system cannot find the file specified)

If you could explain how to solve the problem that would help as well.

It seems that there are a number of errors including comms frequencies. If FSX Planner has a fault finder you should run that.

You certainly have duplicate starts - that is more than one runway start with the same number.

You have made a taxi name too long - commercial - As I recall the maximum length is 5 characters and generally only one or two are used

Several of your taxi links have invalid end parking spot index numbers. The links are listed as are the index numbers for the parking spots.

Any idea on how I would go about the invalid end parking spots as every time I delete one/fix one, more just pop up. I am going to redo my whole taxi system by redoing it completely. And when I search for the taxi points/parking nothing comes up i even manually try to find the taxiways.

I got some of the above issues figured out...but how do you put the lat/long in if you have it like N28 58.21/W118 20.97 because every time I do it puts it somewhere else and not where I want it.

If you send me (jon AT scruffyduck.co.uk) the XML file I will look at it for you.

As for co-ordinates, I do not use FSX Planner so I am not sure what it would accept but you could turn them to decimal:

N28 58.21 is 28.9701666666666667
W118 20.97 is -118.3495

You should be able to enter the lat/lon how you have it above. Just make sure your preferences are set to accept lat/lons in that manner.
