• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

ok, i'm really frustrated, i'm looking at the manual page 34, Condition Editor

i want to create the example they give,

Or
..And
....[Bank] > 150
....[Bank] < 179
..And
....[Bank] < -150
....[Bank] >-179

resulting in

([Bank] > 150 And [Bank] < 179) Or ([Bank] < -150 And [Bank] > -179)

but i cannot for the life of me figure out what combination of buttons to press. can someone please break it down step by step

i can't show my example above with spaces so i used periods. so what i'm doining is:
Add Group - Or
Add Group - And
Add Cond - Bank > 150
Add Cond - Bank < 179
Add Group
Add Cond - Bank <-150
Add Cond - Bank > -179

the problem is, i don't get indenting on the conditions lqaike i should and i get error

thanks, steve

Hopefully you already figured this out…

Yeah…I'm pretty good with MissionEditor but I recall this giving me fits too. For the life of me I don't remember what I did or even if I got it to work.

Not for the faint of heart…but then I've seen your handle around this forum a lot…you might try setting up as much as you can get to work and then going into the saved mission file (Notepad) and see how it is coded. That may give you some ideas - perhaps cutting, pasting and modifying a new section to get the other bank angle.

Likewise, you can go into OPT and try to do it from in there…once you know how, there are actually a couple of things that OPT does better
