• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

In our VFR-Flightsimmer-Forum we started a new database, where we try to collect information about all scenery-projects in germany.
We want to provide users and developers with information about all airports (who's designing it? is there a freeware/payware-version for it?...).
I just want you to invite posting your project there if you're working on something in germany.

Link to the database (only german version available)

Thanks very much!

Hi Thorsten,
hey, it's a great idea. I hope, many Designer put in their sceneries. You can also post this message in the BP Forum ;)

That's right (and I really like that one :) ), but you may agree that it's better if anyone can post his scenery himself.
Also we've got a map of all airports in germany (which will be updated from time to time (right now of course not very crowded :D )):

Hi Thorsten!

Nice thing, but ...

*if I write a email to the walhalla admin, the database will be updated (did it twice before :) )

* if I want my sceneries in your database, I have to write the postings myself ... after registering - so walhalla is less work for me :p ;)

Yes, you have to register - that's something we have to live with running an open database.
But you can also give me your links and info and I will post it. So it's actually as easy as at walhalla's. :)

I'm always happy about tipps and critics.
The reason why I started the database is not because I don't appreciate other's work, but I think the idea with the map might be even more useful than the other databases yet.

I have changed the settings for the entries, so now everybody can post his projects without having to register in the forum :)
