Problem Sovled! After reinstalling gmax
Hello all,
I've been using Bill Womack's FS Ground Polygons tutorial to create a custom runway for my home airport OPKC but I'm confused at one step. I create the base poly in gmax but I get extremely confused at the texturing step because the textures are not showing on the poly. Here's what I do:
1. Select UVW Map from the modifier list, select Planar and make the Length the same as the Width (46m).
2. The I go to the Material Editor and click on New and then the Standard button.
3. Then in Blinn Basic Parameters, I click on the small box to the right of Diffuse, double-click on Bitmap and select my BMP concrete texture (512x512).
4. Then in Material Editor I click on the Show Map in Viewport button and then click Apply and close the Material Editor.
But I can't see any texture on my base poly. I really wanna make this runway and m really frustrated so ill really appreciate it if anyone can help me out.
