• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Some of you were already aware of the fact that I am still studying, but my graduation is coming very near now. The 3rd of February will be the big day. After that I have finished my study in Aerospace Engineering.

Now that I have date to work to, it means that I "only" have three weeks to finish the paper and report I am working on, as well as the presentation for the big day. So most likely I will have less time for scenery design the coming weeks.

Just to let you all know....

Congrats Buddy...my father was an aerospace engineer for General Dynamics and worked on the F-16 project back in the 70's.

It is truly hard work to get through the studying involved for this degree, so I know you have earned it! :teacher:

Arno,
I wish You all the best for the big day and I hope You'll have some spare time later on to support our community. I hope the graduation day will be one fantastic day for You! I'll keep my fingers crossed that You will pass it as You want.

Hey if you ever design some real world aircraft or part in a 3D cad program, be sure to release the code so FS gurus can import the real world mesh data into FS as 100% accurate ;)
