• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Help needed on ILS id & freq

Hi,

I'm not into scenery design but I seek help for resolving the following problem (which I believe is scenery related). I've mailed to several people already but never received an answer. I don't know if this is the right forum but I do hope someone is kind enough to help me.

I (still) use FS2002 and have Lago Amsterdam Schiphol and also (recently) the new runway (36L/18R; polderbaan). When trying to land on the 18C (old 19R) I noticed that there wasn't a glideslope (anymore) and my Project Magenta software informed me that the Rwy ID was now ZWA (instead of SP). Also the course changed from 184 to 187.
After some research I found out that several runways have new ID's and at least one has even a new frequency (they no longer match the FS2002 database).

Is there a way to fix this (other than buying FSX)? Changing BGL???
As said, I'm not into designing so if there is a solution may I ask to keep it "idiot proof".

Thanks,
L.

But FS2002 appears to be a totaly different ballgame

Legal

I had a bit of a look around and cannot find an up to date Schiphol AFCAD for 2002.

There are plenty of up to date ones for FS2004 and even I know how to modify them.

But FS2002 appears to be a totaly different ballgame looking at one of the Files.

There is a file over on Avsim called EasyNavs this will allow you to edit/add ILS, VOR and NDB data for FS2000/2002.

Hi gents,

thanks for the info. I downloaded the EasyNav (probably made by easyJet:rolleyes: ) and I'll give it a try. Will let you know the result. Changing the AFCAD doesn't help. I've tried that already.

Glad at least someone took the time to respond.:) And I happen to be rather good in Dutch.

Grtz.
