Hello everyone!!!

I have lots of doubts since I recently started making scenery and I am a beginner for fs2004 and was working on Chennai (VOMM) in India. I was able to correct the layout and added taxiways and aprons as per the tutorial by soarfly scenery concepts but when I made the custom terminal It didn't show up even though I did everything correctly also the stock airport buildings show up even though I deleted them in ade and also any help with exclusion area around the airport would be very very helpful.

Thank you for your time.

Hi Jeppa6640

If you click on the yellow box you will be able to draw an exclusion box around your airfield. You have to start at where you want the top left corner to be then with your finger on left mouse button pull down and across until you have a yellowy orange box covering your whole airfield. Click on all and then ok and it should get rid of all autogen buildings and other things.
Hope that helps

I created a custom terminal model as well and its not showing up and I tried doing that for another smaller airport called CYYG and still the buildings not removed

Re your custom building: when you created it did you use dedicated co-ordinates for it that places it exactly where you want it to go or did you just create the model? if it was the second option then you have to place it into your scenery using
a tool like Instant Scenery to actually place it in your scenery and save it in a .bgl file which this kind of tool offers you. Then you will see it in your scenery.
Just a thought on CYYG ( and I'm not getting at your ability here) but did you save the file and compile it and copy the bgl to your fs2004 add on scenery? a simple task that I sometimes forget to do after all the years of scenery design under my belt.
hope this helps.
