• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

The default EIDw has issues with runway 28 takeoff. I just spent a few hrs messing around to see what happens. To get to 28 the planes have to use the end of 16 as taxiway. But here is the strange thing. If the evolveair A320-200 arrives first it will stop, get take off permision, taxi and take off, but none of the other aircraft will do it. If that same plane is anywhere else in the Que it wont contact tower. Ardvark 737-800 and kingair never contact tower. I added another segment to taxiway to reduce the size of the Holdshort taxiway, no matter wahat size i make it it dosnt seem to make the planes taxi any closer to the holdshort line so they never contact tower and just time out. Any sugestions.. without having to make another taxiway??

This is certainly interesting. So any plane besides the A320-200 will never take off, even if they are first in line? They just wait eternally at the hold short location? What happens if you move the hold short location closer to the runway without adding the extra taxiway segment?

well I moved it in about 1 meter and all woked, finally so simple, better than adding extra taxiways, welll that was unil ATC forgot the poor Beach on the runway in position waiting for clearance, then the 737-800 that got clearance while the other 737 was still getting into positin for take off, well its not perfect but it was fun watching it.
