• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

How can i modify a exirting Airport with WED

Hi,
As someone switching from P3D to X-Plane 12, I’ve run into a problem—likely due to my limited English skills. I’m clearly missing something here, but I can't figure out what it is. I can edit all the airports shown in Image 1 without any issues. However, how do I open an airport that isn't listed there but actually exists in X-Plane? It just isn't working for some reason.
Is there a "hidden" function I’ve overlooked? A way to select the specific airport I want to modify?

It would be great if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks a lot, everyone. Michael

Wed always display every single folder you have inside the custom scenery folder; even if empty. My bet is that this airport is not inside the custom scenery folder; maybe inside a folder. Check your airport you want to change installation; it must be right in the custom scenery folder.

You win the Bet ! All Airport on the Top i can open and modify. That sounds good. But how can i find the other Airport which are not in this Custom Scenery Folder. I mean How can i find the Original Airport of Ushuaia SAWH. Its in the Sim. Somewhere because if You want start i Flight there the Sim shows You all Details of the Airport.

This is how is done: pay attention to the

Importing an airport from the Gateway into WED

you basically pull it from the gateway; the airport will be installed into your custom scenery folder and than you can do what you need to do with it in wed.
Here you can also check if what you looking for is available in this case SAWH is available: https://gateway.x-plane.com/airports/SAWH/show
