• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

How do I eliminate those darn signs?

I'm glad you found the right sign. The right sign exclude for KPIH is on the far eastern end and the correct one for KFMZ is the most northern one. The pattern is somewhat random but I feel they are usally on the edge somewhere :)

I wonder if it has something to do with the location on the earth's surface or something... sure, nothing has a pattern these days
:banghead:

To bring that one back on top:

I'm having problems with my newest project - EDDF

I made a BIG exclude area and the taxiway signs, the buildings and the three main runways (25L-07R, 25R-07L, 18-36) are gone. BUT there is another one called 26L. It's located at the begining of 25L ... at that darn little runway will NOT disappearand as the runways of my new scenery are a little bit shifted to the north ... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Everything else from the default scenery is gone, only 26L if there. I tried an extra exclude in an extra bgl called "01.bgl" to be before my new scenery) but nothing helps ...

Um ... forget about the upper post - it seems to be a little nag of SGX ... you have to LOOK into the airport facility data in order to force it to make a deleteAirport tag ...

SGX? I'm not aware of that acronym... what is that?? Excluding the default scenery is always tricky... glad to see you may have solved your problem before any of us had a chance to answer you... LOL!!
