Hi - Now I need some more intresting information.
Just now I am exprimenting with lightning in the night.
To get just some glowing windows in my scene - I just use the MSFS Glass and set emitting color and the Emissive scale and it is good enough for me. Just add that for some windows on buildings.
But when it comes to facade lights and more I would like to have some more tips.
I made a test with a brickwall and tro lampframes in blender and in one of them I put a point-lamp in blender.
In the other I MSFS Emissive material in the top and bottom face.
In the first attached jpg below - you can see the first lamp when It is installed in MSFS. The first one was with no top and bottom faces.
It seems to be no light at all. The point lamp seems to be of no use - and the emissive is shiny even if it glows.
BTW I have seen some youtube where they really uses point lamps but I do not get it to work - and the parameters they are tunining
do not even exist in Blender Exporter today. (I have the last one.
So I continue and use the LIght Warm and put it into the lamp frame and it works rather nice (see attached files) ... But....
I Cant see anyway to change the strength. And also it is light in only one way.
Well I change this last option with a duplicate and rotation 180 degrees. Se the final result...
There you can also see a wall with the first configuration - with a point lamp from Blender in the left lampframe and
A emissive faces in the left lamp.
Anyone that know how to add lights on a house in the way? I want in a easy way (this works for sure) but
I also want to be able to change the strength of the lights?
I uses the Light_warm here - There is also a LIght_Warm_medium. Have not tested that but is tthis (medion) stronger or lighter than the orginal Light_warm?
All help is welcome....
