• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi Guys~

I noticed some of you were flying a plane manual and around airport try to snap picture of airport or terminal etc.. with your plane spot background airport. (it's a little annoying plane spot front of screenshot). :rolleyes:

I know it is hard to snap photo when you were on plane spot.

All you have to do is. Easy!!! Don't have to load aircraft and try to take off and figure it out where shot at best place to snap screenshot at.

First.

Run FS2004. It does not matter select aircraft.

Pick you want to have an airport location. When you are in the cockpit.

Press twice "W" the cockpit panel is off. You have full view screen.

Press "Y" is a slew not flying at all. You use your num pad area.

left "4" right "6" forward "8" and backward "2"

Up "Q" and down "A" press twice to stop moving up or down. Unless if you want go higher faster speed it up "F4" and down "F1". Press "5" num pad to stop up or down.

Num pad 1 or 3. 1 = left turn and 3 = right turn. stop turning press 5.

If you were done with this slew. Press "Y" and Press "W". You're done. Isn't that simple? :)

Stuart, besides the fact that an airplane in the foreground could be nice, what you described above for FS9 works (almost) still in FSX. You only have to hit before [F10] forcing the 2D-view and when done [F9], bringing you back into you 3D pilot's view.
 
?? We were talking about moving the plane down while in slew mode, not entering slew mode.
