• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

P3D v5 ICAO change

Hello guys, Jorge Chavez Airport in Lima Peru has changed its ICAO from SPIM to SPJC.
I have a lot of Flight Plans created with SPIM
I am using P3Dv5 and I am wondering if my old Flight Plans will be recognized if I delete SPIM from the list of Airports with ADE and create the new one SPJC which is part of the P3Dv5 stock airports,
Hope somebody might have ideas about my concern

I don't think that AIFP supports v5, so you would probably have to add SPJC to the list of airports? Should be OK after that as long as you change the code in every AI file.

AIFP 3.4.3.15 installed on my system, supports P3D5 and P3D6.
SPJC (Lima-Callao Jorge Chavez) is used by the stock trafficAircraft. bgl of both sims (5 and 6).
SPIM is not included into the a.m. traffic files, so I guess changing SPIM to SPJC in related FP's will do the trick.

AIFP 3.4.3.15 not only supports v5, it will prompt you that the ICAO has changed with its File Validation Report, and will change it for you. This is the text you will get for each flight plan leg affected: "Leg 02: SPIM is a FS9 and FSX-P3Dv4 airport replaced in P3Dv5 by SPJC"
