• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

is it just me or does anybody else seem that we spend more time enhancing flight sim than we do actually flying?

No, I think it is not just you. On forums like this I think the majority spends more time on making addons than on the actual flying (unless you count slewing also as flying :D).

yes--lol i noticed that i slew around much more than I fly--- just set the time to "x4" and see if your airport functions normally:D

Never really thought about it before, but yeah... it's about half-and-half for me.

I do alot of Air Traffic Control as well.

alright, you guys are designing scenery.

I actually do a lot of flying:
- start engines
- stop engines
- start engines
- throttle up
- taxi over gras and fields
- take off
- land immediatly
- throttle up again
- flaps up
- flaps down
- airborne again
- land
...

just to see if my animations work and to make sure the contact points are set properly. :D

My flight log is quite impressive though!

i used to use the numpad...

hard to do when you are using a laptop without a numpad :)

I also cant fly long because of a problem with my computer-- when I have the charger plugged in the computer runs extremely slow ( I dont know why ) so I can only play Flight Sim on "High Performance" setting for about 20 minutes on battery power:rolleyes:

Real programmers fly with the NumPad :->

Hehehe :D

I've been working on a set of repaints for a short while now and all I seem to be doing is wearing out the hat button.
