P3D v2 Issue on P3D SDK V2.3 on 3ds Max 2014

Hey all,

Trying to get V2.3 working on 3ds Max on my new computer (new drives, totally new). In 3ds Max 2014, in the P3D tools (animation manager and attach tool), I get XML code showing in the windows, and an error stating;

MAXScript MacroScript Error Exception
--Type error, call needs function or class, got: undefined

I went to the V2.3 SDK folder and hit the ConfigSDK.exe, and that states that I need to have the Prepar3D V2.3 simulator installed and having run it at least once or twice.

Is this correct? Do I really need to download and install V2.3 simulator and run it a couple of times to run the SDK? Just curious. Perhaps I have an old version.

What I did was import all my SDK folders to the new computer. I didnt know the SDK's were linked or 'wired' to the simulators.

Hoping I can get around that.

Thanks for any input or help on this.
