• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Howdy all,

Longtime lurker, new to developing scenery for msfs. This is the first building to replace the default models at Inyokern with the eventual plan to redo the entire airport. Some of you might recognize the hangar, but I wont spoil it just yet ;)

Made significant progress on the textures this weekend, hoping to have a V1 release available soon.

Now with 100% more Com Truise P51! The initial texturing pass is done, and the first interior prop added. Needs the emissive windows, more interior props, some FAA beacons on the tops masts, and the automated hangar doors. V1 will be ready Soon.
 
Nice! Plans to do the base as well? There are a few freebies out there, but all of them use stock objects and whatnot and that's no fun. There are a ton of pictures available... if you know where to look!

Yessir, eventually I'll be re modeling the entire airport. The plan is to have 100% custom props and textures for everything along with better ground polys, terrain and markings.

If anyone is interested in trying the alpha version, I have a package link ready to go, I would love to get some feedback from the dev community. Its relatively lightweight as is but has no LOD optimization yet and the doors dont move. I added in a few asobo default props as setholders, but otherwise everything else is in a close to final state.
 

We have animated doors finally! Working on a possible proximity trigger, just needs colliders and LOD optimization and V 1.0 will be ready for release.
 
V1 is here! I would love some feedback from the dev community, I also have a direct google drive link available for anyone that doesnt wish to use FS.to, it should also be up on flyaway at some point soon.
