• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

FS2004 long animation asm tweaking

Hi,

I just finished a lesson on longer animation.
I did get my animation to work in the game.
But when i increase the ; number of entries
in the sample_o.asm file it jumps some of the animation.

What is the point of the Microsoft excel tool if it does not
number your animations in sequence. Mine just makes them
all the same key number.

I figure I would have to number the animations
from o to what ever you used. Then I know it would work proper.
I read the wiki page all day long and there must be one mistake I am
making. Or we need a better tool!

I found a solution

Hi Fellow Developers,

I noticed that I am using OpenOffice. Maybe that's why my output frames were all the
same number. I made a change to the animation_tweak tool so it works in OpenOffice.
I want to ask the owner who created the tool if it's ok to add a updated version.

Does anyone know if the Excel tool is supposed to make a sequence?
Well that's what it does for me know.
I am about to test my progress now!

I think it is the user tsgucci that made the Excel sheet before. You might want to contact him.

If the file now linked to at the Wiki needs updating, just let me know and I will do so.
