I wanted to make different cars for my scenery using fsds 3.
I used to start with a huge tube with a lot of sections and then I shaped the tube along the car and later I started to cut out windows and doors..you name it.
But then I can't go on because I always have trouble with the boolen operation. Either I get the error "Part is self intersecting Tool is self intersecting" or I get a lot of parts as a result of the boolean operation but they are not visible, I can only see the axis.
Is there a way to avoid these errors or is there another way to begin with the car. Please see the attached file, this is my backdrop.
