• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Your textures need to be Base 2 multiples.

Eg 64, 128, 256, 512 or 1024 pixels

Hi,

Those are just warnings not errors. The object should show fine in modelconverterx. The warning is there to let you know the textures needs to be resized before they will work in FS. You can do that with the mass texture editor function for example.

Okay, so I just need to resize them? There is just one problem. I can't see the model at all in model converter x

How do you put your model in FSX? You convert the object as MDL-file and add to a library with the library creator and place this object in FSX?

Also make sure, that FSX has access to the texture you converted.

Can some one help me with this? Some of these textures won't show up!! Even parts of the model aren't there!!! HELP!!!!!

Hi,

I am a little bit lost with all the bits of information you have posted by now.

Is it working already, I see an aircraft in the last screenshot that looks OK?

Does the model show in ModelConverterX as well now?

No. Parts of my model are missing. I checked the MDL file in Model Converter X, but the some of the model was missing.

Have you fix the textures ?, as said in the first answer, the textures are not power of 2, just update the the textures with "Mass texture editor" in Mcx. first set the path to your texture scenery folder.

Okay problem solved. Apparently, the model did not like ADE, so I rezized in sketchup, and the model is fine.
