Hi,
For testing purposes, I've compiled a photo image of the surrounding area of the airport using SbuilderX. I placed the bgl in the addon scenery of FSX and it looks great. With the runways being longer than they used to be in 1970, I imported that bmp image into Gimp to clone and edit out the extra runway length. When I try to compile my edited bmp, it would not compile. I did select the boarder of the image so that it turns green and I checked the box "compile to bgl folder." A DOS box comes up for a split second and nothing happens. I've tried other bmps and they worked. It seems that this only occurs after I've edited a bmp file. So does the compiling in SbuilderX supposed to work even after the bmp has been edited? Or is it because it's already been compiled and it only compiles it once? Or do I have to compile the edited bmp using a different method? I don't understand why it's not compiling after I edit a bmp. I don't think it created an INF file since it never compiled because I cannot find it, unless I'm not looking the right folder. It assume the INF would be in the same location as the bmp and text file, which is 'Tools' and 'Work' folder.
Ken.
