• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

My EGBG project

well, been working on this for quite a while, incase you are wondering "EGBG is a small airport, why is it taking you so long" well, plans change, free time schedule changes etc etc the list goes on and on BUT the project is finally under-way and everything (work-flow mainly) is going as planned.

This scenery will push FS2004 beyond its limits', including 3d people walking around the airport, different texture setting for various metal types and its cleaniness, for example; black/white plastic drainpipes will have different specular levels etc, giving FS9 the brilliant effect of new and old materials around the airport and its surface type.
Windows will not be just images of a window, it will display an image of a window but with transparency looking into a building to see whatever should be fount in that specific building.

to make it simple without going far in depth, this scenery WILL be at or above UK2000 Xtreme, aerosoft, flytampa quality, I am aiming for Orbx quality but it may not be exactly like orbx quality since FS9 has texture restrictions, but 3D and complete utter realism will be added...well, just wait and see for the screenshots i will be posting this saturday!

Now, if anyone wants to join me in helping make this xtreme project come to the community faster, let me know, I'll be happy for you to offer any help, free copies will be out to anyone that helped me!

Regards

I could help, but in providing available resources.

I'm an expert at searching the internet ;)

Why no FSX? Drainpipes shine oh so bright in FSX thx to it's cutting edge spec & bump mapping. Crysis 2, watch & learn!

I can help with the taxiways and build the papi/vasi if any. :D
