• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

A big thanks to Arno, for helping me with a few points I had, during the week, and to all those guru's out there who's tutorials guided me. Here are some screenshots of the scenery I was developing. It's not finished yet and it is my frst ever project so please be gentle :)

Opinions are very welcome. (Underlying scenery is Visualflight's VFR Photoscenery and VFRTerrain)

Cheers

Hi Marcus,

Impressive level of detail, looks great :D.

WOW!

That is incredible! Well done man!

SOOO much detail youve put in, and I love the maze!!! :D

Well done,

D.

Thankyou so much for your praise. I have had more comments on the maze than anything else :) It took me nearly a whole day to model. I'm glad everyone noticed it :D

Cheers

Marcus,

Absolutly jaw dropping stuff. I cannot begin to imagine how you did that. I don't suppose that you may write a tutorial on how you did it? There are morons like me who need all the help they can get. :p

You have blown my first attempts not only out of the water, but out of the universe :rotfl:

Well done m8. I will definetly download that when it becomes available.

Manfred

Thankyou Manfred, I'm honoured by your response :D
I am not too sure of my abilities to write a tutorial, but thanks for your faith in me anyway. I have a huge admiration for those who take the time and have the knowledge to write tutorials, without them I would not have even started.
But I can direct you to the website with very concise tutorials, that helped me. I thank the Windowlight design website and this very forum for my knowledge. http://www.windowlight.co.nz/design.html
You may already be aware of these tutorials, however I found them most helpful to get started with GMax.
If there is anything in particular I can assist with, I would be only too happy to help. But writing a tutorial, is beyond my level of knowledge, at the moment.

Some more screenshots, incase anyone is interested :

MAny thanks
