So I used the ground poly wizard in MCX to make my ground poly which looks awesome except it has triangle shped holes (see screenshot)

So i export from sketchup and open in mcx, convert textures to dxbmp then export as mdl, then use the wizard to create my ground poly.
Any ideas ??
Oh also its a little shiney in sim how do i make the textures non shiney
Thanks

Which version of MCX are you using? Most bugs with those triangles have been solved by now, so are you using the latest version?

Check the specular color of your material, I suspect it is not black but some other color.

Hi,

I don't know if it is the same bug, I haven't change the logic related to splitting the polygons recently. It might be a new bug as well. Would you have a (small) test object that shows the issue?

I will have a look, but in general am objects with thousands of triangles is hard to debug. That's why I asked for a smaller test object that shows the problem.
