• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Need Help!

O boy I need some help here. I am brand new at this, I was following a tutorial in CP mag on DIY Scenery (may 2005 issue) I am using FS2004 and trying to put a grass strip in Alaska. I am using FSSC to create the scenery. I put everything in the software and I went to fly at the location, however the grass strip is in the wrong place and sticking out into the water. I looked all over for the files and I cannot find them. I tried everything to delete them so I could start all over. I can’t find the files. Could someone help me here, I could send you the mag issue via e-mail.
Thanks

It must be a bgl scenery file. It is a very long time since I used FSSC as it is an old program now. However you must have set a name for the project and a location for the scenery to be saved to. If you did not do anything special and it does show up in FS then chances are it is in Addon Scenery\scenery. Use Explorer to navigate to that folder and check the list of files. If you can't find the one you created then sort the files by date. It is probably at the top. If that does not work then try compiling it again and it will be at the top. Make sure that the sim is not running when you compile.
