• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hello guys

I would set an ILS to asobo airport LXGB Gibraltar is this possible ?
How to do because i read somewhere we not can load the orginal Airport, so what i have to do here ?

Sorry but sometimes it takes us a little while to get around to all the posts that come in during a day. I think there are several threads already on the subject of ALS and MSFS 2020 so perhaps a search might help You can load a stock MSFS airport into ADE 2020 but at the moment this does not load navaids. However if there is no ILS then you can add one with ADE 2020 and make sure that Create ILS Approach is not checked since the current alpha series for ADE 2020 has not been tested with approach code

Hi, thank you for reply back :)

To say i did that and it worked ( find out in usage ) i am not a profi in here, but what to do to compile it over in my community folder, that`s what i did not manged out.
I saved it as a projekt and there are lot of dirs in there now so i don`t know realy what to do with them !
Today i loaded the project and pushed that create package or something like that and than opend the black window ( compiler i assume ) but there came up a lot of error messeages in there
and as i closed a small window opend with an error message.

But in general if i only set those ILS should this normaly work ?

To say i did it like shown in your upper shot the last two entrys wasen`t checked, i just used RW27.

Thanks, and that is very Interessting, but does that mean you can realy not set an ILS there ( in the Game ), thats now some i can`t belive..
Shure that happens or is in real live, but should work in the game or i am that wrong ?

Here are some pics off the compiler, beginning and end of the process.

I did a new compile with this shown images and this time ADE asked at finish to copy it to the community folder ( worked this time now the first time ).
I checked and there was the new Dir ( lxgb-gibraltar-ab ) but nothing in there; i mean there was a Tree with scenery - world - scenery but without any file in either on of those Dir`s ..?

Those errors are in Approach Code which I mentioned above not to use. I loaded the stock LXGB into ADE 2020, added and ILS without creating an approach and it built without errors. If you are new to ADE 2020 then the pdf notes that come with the installer may help in explaining how it works
 
Thanks, and yes i am new again, long time ago i used it in FSX in the years 2007 to 2010 but there is not mutch left of knowledge until today
so ,i have to learn again :)

So i tought i didn`t checked these settings i am looking in it again and try to create a second one.

Just to report back, i did a second try and this took around 3 mins and all was ready and worked, the folder is complete at the community - so thank you again !

You right i am wrong, looks like the "create ils apporach" was checked before; i tought not..
