• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Version 1.11 is available by internet update.

This fixes a situation where SDE cannot decompile a Bgl file that contains an Ndb record where there is no ndb Name.
 
KRIE Not Find ICAO

Jon,

I am using your latest version of SDE and have a issue with "Find ICAO" using KERI. This works fine in ADE but not in SDE and want to thank you for the develoving tools.

Can you tell me what is happening in SDE TestApp please? I would expect the ICAO handling in each application to be much the same as it comes from the Engine itself

In SDE when I enter KERI and click on the "Find ICAO" the decpiption fields are empty. In the File field it says "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." The same is in the File and Airport Type fields. Where the tree opens is in South Australia but KERI is in Erie Pennsylvania.

If I go to the tree and open KERI all the fields fill in.

OK Sorry Bill

I thought I had updated SDE TestApp to the latest version of the Airport SEarch Window but it looks like I did not :o I will try and update it shortly. In the meantime you will need to access it from the tree.


EDIT

OK if you run the Check for Update in your version of SDE you should be offered a new version of TestApp. This uses the same function as ADE.

Yes the check for update function worked and was able to download new version. Find ICAO now works llike ADE. Thanks.
