• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

MSFS20 no planes available in the list

Hello everyone,

I am coming to you, following a problem exporting blender to MSFS I'm trying as best I can to export a model in MSFS, the export is done in GLTF format, so far so good.
Where it gets tricky is when I open MSFS, the plane does not appear in the plane list in the library, and yet when I go to MSFS developer mode, in the TOOL and Packages tab, the plane does exist in the list, same thing if I go to the content manager, it appears as installed, I have tried a lot of things but until now I always get the same result, an aircraft which is not in the list of available aircraft.
Has anyone ever encountered this type of problem and know what caused it?

Thank you for your answers.

Check that your aircraft.cfg has a unique title for the aircraft. No other aircraft in the sim has that title. Ensure your folder structure is also unique. If you are building the aircraft.
You build aircraft for community folder, you exit sim, you copy package to community - you restart sim, you should find your aircraft in the aircraft selection - DO NOT open your project

Hello everyone,

Thank you Ronh, for the links to the video, which I watched with great attention.
However, this does not solve my problem, I checked everything, and it was impossible to obtain the plane in the library.
I checked the configuration files for blender export several times, the export was done correctly and without errors.
I checked the Aircraft.cfg, and everything seems correct.
I resized the Thumbail.jpg images, which were not the right size.
When I go into developer mode, and I open my project, the plane is available and existing, the data from aircraft.cfg is taken correctly, but the plane is not displayed in the library, and I cannot find any not at all the reason.
Is this a 3D object problem in the GLTF file, I don't know in any case when I open my .gltf file in MCX my piece of plane is clearly visible, I don't understand at all why the plane remains invisible in the library
