• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

HI, I just wanted to show you a little side project I did on request from a flightsim.to user. The Old Harry Rocks on the Jurassic Coast of southern england, only a few miles west of the Needles landmark on the Isle of Wight which is one of Asobos custom POIs from the UK World update. Nothing big but maybe some people might enjoy it.:

Cheers, Fabian

I used to live across the water from there in Poole. Please don't take this as criticism Fabian because that's good scenery work, but your source was out of date. Looking at the bottom screenshot, the 'wife' you have there collapsed around thirty-five years ago - I still lived in Poole when it happened and a big fuss was made of it locally - but Old Harry got himself a new wife around twenty years ago when the cliff on the right partially collapsed. The best current picture I could find is this:-

For all that, the scenery you have reproduced there is the one that was most familiar to me in the twenty years I lived in Poole.

Thank you for the feedback, I have never been there myself so mistakes happen. I actually used the photo you linked as one of my sources for modeling. When comparing the photo and the screenshot, what I think is that I accidently made Harry and His wife switch places. I have to look at the other photos of the area to see what happened there. I also watched drone footage from 2022 to get an impression how the rocks are arranged, but I might have mixed up their positions. I'll look into it tonight
