Hi,
we experienced that the frame rate of Prepar3D (2.2.10437.0) runs low after some hours of usage.
In the attachment you see an excel plot. We logged the frame rate every 4 seconds. The fps in Prepar3D was roofed at 40fps. After about 6h the frame rate dropped significantly below 40 fps.
What are we doing? Well we do nothing more then letting the own entity (id 0) fly in a circle of about 100km radius controlled via SimConnect. After the weekend the frame rate dropped below 4fps with 4 of 8 CPU cores running at 100%. On screen you can see that Prepar3D has a hard time to page in any new data showing terrain textures with very low resolution.
So it appears to me that Prepar has some paging issues that somehow cost a lot of CPU time.
Trying now to reproduce it in slew mode without SimConnect.
Thanks for any advice that helps keeping performance up.
