Need some help!
Using FSX KML 1.10 Beta
Google Earth Version 5.0.11733.9347
I am trying to create some islands and have used the following.
1. I have made four excludes all which touch each other forming a rectangle. (Exclude__WaterPolys)
2. I then made a large poly to cover all four exclusions using (Hydro_Polygons_Generic_Ocean_Perennial).
3. I then made four islands. These were made clockwise and tagged with (PolygonHole).
4. I then use FSX KML to create the bgl. When using the BUILD I leave "Automatically reverse order of vertices in polygon holes" checked.
This is in accordance with Wiki
"If you are using Google Earth, all polygons are written to the KML file in an clockwise direction irrespective of how they were drawn. FSX KML has the build option "Automatically Reverse Points In Polygon Holes" which will automatically reverse the direction of polygon holes. This is on by default because it is assumed most users will use Google Earth to create their KML files."
For some reason the islands done this way do not show up.
However, if I uncheck "Automatically reverse order of vertices in polygon holes" they will show.
Was wondering if something has changed with Google Earth or FSX KML?
