• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Hi

I have 2 questions:

1 - When i try to find SPRF airport, FSX Planner tells me it is on the 0304 folder with the file name APX29260.bgl. The problem is this file does not exist in that folder. This happened to me before with another airport also. Am i doing something wrong?

2 - Is it possible to rotate the airport view?

Thanks.

Use SDE

SDE says it's into the file APX29370.bgl (San Rafael).

Get it!

I don't have SDE, i was talking about FSX Planner. It says it is in APX29260.

If a tool is giving wrong answears and I am pointing a solution to you, get SDE. It's free. Get the right information.

Russell will find out the issue but this take some time.

Ok, i got it.
But i get the same error when trying to compile as in ADE:

NTERNAL COMPILER ERROR: #C1003: Failed to create MSXML object! (0x80040154)

Parsing document: San Rafael SPRF.xml

INTERNAL COMPILER ERROR: #C2430: Unrecoverable error parsing XML!
INTERNAL COMPILER ERROR: #C2006: Parse failed (0x80004005)
INTERNAL COMPILER ERROR: #C2003: Failed to process file: San Rafael SPRF.xml
Can't copy BGL file into the destination folder:
C:\Programas\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Environment Kit\BGL Compiler SDK\San Rafael SPRF.BGL (O sistema não conseguiu localizar o ficheiro especificado)

Thanks for your help.

Edit: Found the solution for this error. Had to uninstall and reinstall MSXML. Compiled without errors now. Thanks, José.

I'll have to look into why the wrong file is being returned.

Thanks for using FSX Planner and for letting me know about this bug. :)

I have found the bug that was causing this error. It caused errors in finding airports located in the southern hemisphere. It has been fixed and will be working properly in the next release.

Thanks, Russel ;) When will it be released? Will the next version open the bgl's directly?
